Dear Family,
Things are going really well, actually they're freakin' awesome!
So this past week we had a lot of snow and its still coming, its not as bad as Harrisburg though, they got about 2 feet of the thick white stuff. Its been fun driving around in the snow, people drive so stupid when it snows, its not that hard people!
So a member gave us a referral this past week. So we go to see this guy that has had missionaries in the past, so we're like that's sounds good why not. The minute we get in the door this 50yr old creepy guy answers the door and is like "mmm you guys look handsome why don't you come in" I'm like uhhh ok. So we go in and talk to him for a little bit and before we start teaching him, he's like "hey can we say a prayer for me, I got tested for aids and I wanna pray ok?" I'm like Elder Weston, its all you my friend... lol. Then after the prayer he just lays on the ground and is like "Teach me the gospel!" So we teach probably the shortest lesson I've ever taught, give him our name and phone # and bail outta there.
He then called us yesterday and is like "I went to the doctors but I wont get the results until Monday, my neck hurts, the doctor says that's not good, cya yunz guys later ok, beep." I
'm like Elder Weston, WHO IS THIS! We're just in P.E.C. trying to explain what happened with this guy. That's what I call a good ole member referral right there!So about the Baptism, we are baptizing a 9 yr old named Chris, in a part member family. He's a way cool little dude and he has a crazy little brother. We taught him the Plan of salvation this last Saturday and since it was his birthday we decided to give him some twisty colored pencils, he was so excited. He was like " oh man I love to draw!" Made me think of Adam. But anyway we will be baptizing him on the 2nd of January.
I got all the mail and packages, I got the thing from Uncle Dan too, I was definitely spoiled again this year. I've already sent some thank you cards ;)

Looks like he didn't get too much snow compared to other places, but he did get about 3 to 4 inches from what I read about his town. We're so much looking forward to talking with him this Christmas Day.
