Dear Brother and Sister Holmes,
Sister Pugh and I are so grateful for the opportunity we have had to work with your son, Elder Holmes during his assignment to the Pennsylvania Harrisburg Mission. We have grown to love the missionaries and are gratified at the growth and development which we have seen in your missionary.
As you are aware, the Pennsylvania Harrisburg Mission is being consolidated with the Pittsburg and Philadelphia Mission on July 1, 2009. President Summerhays is the President of the Pennsylvania Pittsburg Mission and President Murray is the President of the Philadelphia Mission. They are both wonderful men and their wives are even better! We have known both for many years and have been privileged to serve with them here in Pennsylvania.
You will receive specific information from your son as to how they will receive mail and other basic information on the mission.
Sister Pugh and I are returning to Bellevue, Washington and then relocating to Salt Lake City, UT. We have loved serving with your missionary.

It wasn't until this letter that we realized that the Harrisburg Mission is basically splitting. Should be interesting to see where Devin L. ends up later in his mission. Meaning he could head over to Pittsburg. Should be fun for him to see more of Pennsylvania.
