February 23, 2009 Hey family, Well not much has gone on this week, have done a lot of tracting and very little success...we went on exchanges, I went to Downtown Harrisburg, PA, it was pretty crazy. It made Johnstown look like Roseville, CA. We talked to a lot of people. It was weird because everyone had the 'thug' look but everyone was really nice and at least talked to us. We taught a lot of people, it made me miss Johnstown a lot. This week has been really hard. It's hard to not be depressed, but it's nice to know I'm setting an example to so many back home. So I guess some of the Elders have had their MAC accounts hacked into, and mine was a possible account. So I won't get any money for 2 weeks until I get my new card. So I'll be using my home account for 2 weeks. We're doing pretty good as a companionship, I just want someone to teach. I'm ready to leave this area, but I know I'll probably be here for another transfer. But I know it's not suppose to be easy, I've seen that my working hard out here has been helping you back home and it's definitely worth it. I'd do this for the rest of my mission so that if a family can't be touched here, but people back home will be. For interviews we had to think of a scriptural sentence and add our names to it, like the river of Lamarel or Mount Holmes. "Therefore lift they brothers and sisters to the top of Celestial Glory..." Made it up myself. Sister Pugh thought it was pretty good, I like it. Can't wait for the pictures, I'm so glad the Gonzalez Family was able to be there at Adam's baptism. Love ya, Elder Holmes We found out this week that it was just his mission it was all over the place that missionary accounts were compromised. Some of the Elders here in Roseville had to get new cards as well. That means that something happened with the Bank in Utah. |
