To My Family!
Well another week has gone by and its been really fast! I get to stay with Elder Sorensen for another transfer in Johnstown, PA which is nice to be able to get to know the members a little bit better. I'll write you guys a longer letter today, I got the package ok and thanks for the candy!
Later that morning...
That's crazy that Eric is coming home next month! Time flies.... that's cool that Michael is going to Brazil too, he emailed me a few weeks ago and I was able to email him back so that's cool.
Last one of the day...
We usually call from our cell phone or a members home so don't worry about getting a card. Tell Mom and Adam I said Hello and I hope she loved my yellow tie!
Elder Holmes
Each month the mission has what are called transfers. Companionships get moved around as new Elders come in to the Mission Field and others leave to head home. It is common for an Elder to move around to as many as 5 or 6 areas during his mission and have as many as 8 to 10 companions. Many times a new Elder is moved after he has been with a trainer for only a month. Looks like Devin L. gets to stay with Elder Sorensen a bit longer. I had asked Devin L. how it worked for him calling home on Christmas, it's just around the corner.
